FOOD & DRINKS
Depending on the ages and number of guests you'll be choosing quite different food and presentation, but there's one thing you need to remember: food can make your party one of a kind. Mix up the classic birthday snacks with special stuff so people keep wanting more and won't be able to wait for your next party!
We put together Miley's favourite food tastes so you can tell your guests they're enjoying the same things she does, plus special bakery so it's all a ton of fun. Read on!
Tip: A way of keeping the budget down is using as many stuff as you already have and thinking eco-friendly. It's a way of recycling and your mum will be a lot more into it, too. Stick to the real plates, cups, etc. instead of disposable ones. If you must use disposables, try biodegradable ones made from corn-plastic or bamboo; they're as good but compost in just over a month. Never use Styrofoam or real plastic products. If you're buying Hannah Montana supplies make sure you wash and save them for a future party, or see how you can recycle them.

The most popular gizmo around, the iPod Mini, becomes a sweet treat with purchased frosted brownies and gumdrop buttons.
Before You Begin
* Read the Planning Tip given with each cake for make-ahead information.
* Use the large photos as a guide when decorating, but feel free to be creative and change colors.
* Items marked with an asterisk (*) are available in some supermarkets and in cake-decorating, party-supply and crafts stores.
Makes 12
Planning Tip: Can be made through Step 7 up to 1 day ahead. Store airtight at room temperature. Attach fruit streamers the day of serving.
Twelve 3 1/2 x 1 3/4-in. brownies (we used a 28-oz pkg of Little Debbie Cosmic brownies), unwrapped
2 cans (12 oz each) whipped fluffy white frosting
6 paste or gel food colors* (we used yellow, green, blue, pink, orange and purple)
24 large assorted-color gumdrops
Sugar
24 mint Mentos
24 white Good & Plenty licorice candies
2 rolls Kellogg’s Rainbow Rush Fruit Streamers
You also need: 11/2-in. round cookie cutter and 1 qt-size ziptop bag
1. Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper. Place a wire rack on each. Put brownies flat side up on racks.
2. Put 1/3 cup frosting in each of 6 small microwave-safe bowls. Tint each a different color. Cover with plastic wrap; set aside. Place 1/4 cup white frosting in qt-size ziptop bag; seal bag.
3. Roll out gumdrops on a lightly sugared surface with a rolling pin until each is about 1/8 in. thick. Cut 12 into 1 1/2 x 1-in. rectangles. Using cookie cutter, cut out 12 circles from remaining gumdrops.
4. Microwave 1 bowl tinted frosting 5 seconds on high, then stir. Continue heating, 5 seconds at a time, stirring until the texture of slightly whipped cream. (Don’t overheat.) Pour 1 to 2 Tbsp over each of 2 brownies to cover. Repeat with other tinted frostings.
5. Place rectangles and circles on coated brownies as shown. Cut a tiny tip off corner of ziptop bag and pipe details on gumdrops as shown. Let dry. Remove to a serving tray.
6. Headphones: Pipe a dot of frosting on side of each Mento; attach a Good & Plenty. Let dry.
7. Wires: Separate 2 Fruit Streamers by color. Pull one end apart, leaving rest of streamer together.
8. Make a small hole at top edge of iPod with a toothpick and insert joined end of Fruit Streamer. Pipe a small amount of frosting to end of Good & Plenty; press to an end of a separated Fruit Streamer. Let dry.
THE CAKE
Have your local bakery make you a hannah montana cake. Hand them your favourite miley photos or tell them about your theme colour so it's special. You can have the photo as part of the cakes sugar decoration or put it on top. There's lots of options so enjoy!
You can add extra decorations to it from the same stuff you've used for other decos too. Like the balloon's colour strings or the same paper of the gift bags. You can even put mini balloons on it. We added some photos for the basic ideas! Check out a balloons and ribbons decoration here.

DRINKS
Miley's favourite is Snapple so be sure to include it (try the regulars, not diets).
Whatever you're having, you can glam it by putting a little umbrella's in the cups.
Something extra? Try something a milk punch like the Orange Sherbet Punch that's also part of the decoration. Here's a popular recipe.
(serves several)
• 4 cups chilled orange juice
• 1 cup milk
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 cup chilled sparkling water
• 1 quart orange sherbet
Pour milk, sugar, orange peel and nutmeg into a large pitcher. Pour sparkling water into orange juice mixture and stir to blend. Scoop sherbet into large glass punch bowl. Pour punch over and serve immediately.
