GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
No need to say MUSIC Miley/Hannah Montana music will be playing on the back all along. N to add something unexpected get HM guest stars like Dolly Parton, or Miley's favourites from the popular Hilary Duff and Jonas Brothers.
*Make sure to include the totally danceable HM album, Non-Stop Dance Party album too.
Wanna get all active from moment one or get started in a cirlce with trivia? Give prizes to the winners to get everybody motivated n make sure they're stuff they can later use in the dress up as miley so it's all about anticipation! If you have any HM board games you use it too, there are several cool ones here.
If you have a lot of guests or different ages friends make sure to set paralel activity sets. So some people can play trivia games while others sing or dress up.
DRESS UP LIKE MILEY OR HANNAH MONTANA
Dress up like Miley or Hannah. Give your guests clothes and accessories and you can start a competition or a photo sesion!
Make sure to have at least 1 wig too. But while one person is using it remind everyone they can still model as Miley, how awesome is that ;)
If you're leanding accesories make sure it's stuff you wouldn't reget if they get broken or lost. The key is to have lots of glitter and over the top stuff: scarfs, big earings, lots of bracelets, sun glasses, head bands, and everything else you can think of!
Something extra? Include a lot of hats! Miley has said how she's a addicted to hats. Plus they can drastically change a look making it galm or "candid" for photo sesions too.
Make-up is super fun and the perfect final touch. Use light eye shaow and gloss only so your friends won't go home with traces of black mascara, that's never comfy.
*Tip: Display the accessories as a Gift Lounge for a backstage star treatment look. Just organize them before the guests arrive, they'll be a decoration by themseleves too. You can put them over a theme colour fabric or add mirrors for an extra touch.
TRIVIA
While everything's getting started start a who-knows-more of Miley competition. Making groups helps to get people talking.
KARAOKE
Weather you get a karaoke matchine or sing with a hair brush, starting a karaoke is a hit! Get your friends to sing one by one or in small groups/doing chorus or such. If you don't have a karaoke matchine or microphones, sing acapela or over karaoke-like versions songs done by fans, or the original CDs like the Hannah Montana Disney Karaoke Series. HM also has full stage sets like this one.
Starting competitions is always fun but always keep in mind the Hannah Montana episode where the school hosts a karaoke night and Miley reminds everyone how the key is to have fun (not to sing perfectly). So be nice to everyone, do lots of clapping and cheering and more will dare sing!
*Tip: set up a stage. The key are the lights and having the singers on a higher possition. (For example, a stable short table, stairs or even a couch). For the light, hang party lights around the stage and use a bright lamp as the singer’s spotlight.
DANCE
Know any coreography by Miley? Teach it to the group or have a friend who knows best do it! Or just get the volume up and get the party started.
How do get people dancing? Make sure you have a good mix of songs with a few great danceable songs first so they'll get rolled into it and won't stop so easily after it.
Good lights (like using a classic or rainbow ball) and handing in stuff or confetti after a few songs are good ways to keep people on their feet too. If you go with confetti make sure you cut old paper yourself instead of buying it. A good tip is to involve some of the guests who are sitting around to start throwing it around everybody. You can also hand in toy glasses, or scarfs a la Hannah Montana at this moment or start the dancing right after the dress up so everybody is in HM mode!
TRADITIONAL GAMES

PINATA
The mexican tradition is now known everywhere and super fun. You can do them fully by yourself pretty easily, you can buy it or go somewhere in the middle by decorating the outside and/or choosing what's inside. Decorate the outside of the pinata with something like a Miley photo, logo or a cartoon. Or play with the shape picking one with a guitar shape.
Inside, include Miley's favourite candy and other presents like stickers and jewerly.
For something extra annouce there is a special price in a paper that the finder can trade for the real thing (for example, a poster, a home mix cd, a stickers page, etc. depending on the rest of the pinata's surprises).
*Special tip: don't use confetti for it, instead recycle using old newspapers/mags/etc you already have. Just cut them regularry or go with shapes, hearts are easy and always lovely.
