Miley Cyrus Received Hate Mail On Twitter

Although Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account last fall, it still seems to be a hot topic of discussion as she makes the rounds promoting her latest flick, "The Last Song." She said that one of the reasons she left the social-networking site is because she believes the Internet "wastes your life," and in a new interview, she admits that some of the things she said in her tweets angered people.
"There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I've said or done because I believe there are no mistakes, because God is the only one who can judge us," Cyrus told Parade magazine. "That's the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person." ... Miley Cyrus: Inside Look at The Last Song

Greg Kinnear gladly gives his on-screen daughter Miley Cyrus a bit of cash for a new dress in this new inside look to their upcoming movie, The Last Song.
Miley, 17, caught up with JJJ recently and told us how she related to her character, Ronnie. She shared, “I was glad I got to have some part in music in the film. It wasn’t necessarily singing, which is what everyone always wants to put me into. ‘Lets give her a singing role;’ I didn’t necessarily want to do that. I don’t want that to always be the thing that I lean on. But I definitely relate to the music. Again, the animals was really cool. Just things that were a little bit of me within the character but also really different. But I think the music was probably the main thing that I related to.”
The Last Song, also starring Liam Hemsworth and Bobby Coleman, opens in theaters on Wednesday, March 31.

How did you truly get into Miley Cyrus' heart? That's easy enough. You have to be able to get along with her family, including dad Billy Ray Cyrus, says the 'Hannah Montana' star. Are you listening, new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth?
"My parents are a little loco," Miley confessed during a press conference for her latest film, 'The Last Song.' "So [it matters] if you love me and my family and my mom and dad and grandmother and my 10,000 dogs. If you love me after you meet my lifestyle, then you're a keeper."
Miley made the statement as her new love interest, who also happens to be her co-star in the upcoming film, blushed nearby. The two didn't address their newly revealed relationship specifically, but just talking about love while at the podium was "so awkward," the singer-actress admitted.
Kelly Preston Returned to Work for Miley Cyrus

Just six months after losing her 16-year-old son Jett last January, Kelly Preston quietly decided to return to work by starring in The Last Song.
She made the decision "because Miley [Cyrus] asked me herself to play her mom," Preston, 47, tells PEOPLE. "I was really moved. It was the perfect movie to sort of get my feet wet."
As they filmed the Nicholas Sparks drama in Tybee Island, Ga., last summer, "Julie Anne [Robinson, the director], Adam [Shankman, the producer] and Miley took such great care of me," says Preston, who brought her daughter Ella Bleu, 9, along for the trip.
